About Me

A picture of me

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio in the mid to late years of the previous century. I moved to the Pacific Northwest a little after the turn of the century to track down my extended family and give my life a jump-start. Luckily, I like rain, and I’ve remained in the Willamette Valley ever since.

I’ve worked a lot of different jobs throughout my life: retail, call centers, warehouses, and even 15 years as a software developer in the healthcare industry. When did I become a writer? My theory is that I was born a writer, and maybe some day my vocation will match my truth.

I have a lot of interests that range from hobbies to obsessions. A few of those interests are reading (mostly science fiction and fantasy but a little bit of everything), history, the Society for Creative Anachronism (where I met my wife), Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs, comic books, hiking – especially if it involves a waterfall, and spending time near the ocean – especially if it involves a restaurant.

Now that you are sufficiently bored to tears, you may return to the more interesting parts of the website.
